To ensure the best possible fit, Personal Archetypes are graded according to a coherent size system based on German standard suit sizes, which are also common in other European countries, such as Austria, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. Size codes range from size 44 to size 60, and are used for both tops and bottoms.

While these standard sizes account for slight differences in body height, only a 1 cm height difference is factored in from size to size. To better cover the whole range of potential wearers' heights, Personal Archetypes are available in a Short (C) and Tall (T) length size along with every Regular (R) length size. Size combination codes consist of the size followed by the length size, like 54/C, 60/R or 46/T.

 

 

The size system is consistently applied to all clothing, including to garments which are generally available in international sizes only, such as t-shirts.
This approach allows a finer "resolution" for all types of clothing. It also ensures that Personal Archetypes are compatible with one another. For example, once a customer has found his size and length size for a pair of trousers, this will also very likely be the best size combination for a shirt, and vice versa.

1. Size

To identify the correct size, measure your chest circumference (only needed for tops) and hip circumference.
If chest and hip measurements fall into different sizes, choose the larger size.

2. Length Size

The square markers indicate the body height at which a length size Short (C), Regular (R), or Tall (T) will presumably offer the most ideal fit. For the required length size, look for the marked height closest to yours and your selected size.
